We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and experienced Vocational Services Manager who thrives in complex environments and is ready to lead our Vocational Services Team. Your Role as Vocational Services Manager

• Integrate the GEO Continuum of Care Vision and operating philosophy into the fabric of the prison environment.
• Lead the strategic direction of Fulham’s Vocational Services Department including the delivery of quality education, relevant vocational training and meaningful prisoner employment
• Provide operational management and oversight of all Industry Trade Training areas within the Centre which may include construction, engineering, horticulture, hospitality, maintenance and domestic operations.
• Ensure VET program is delivered by a Registered Training Organization (RTO) that is registered with the Australian Skills Quality Authority and meets their service delivery requirements.
• Manage contracts with commercial partners and subcontractors and timely reporting on the operational requirements to internal and external stakeholder

About You

• Relevant qualifications in education and/or trade management experience
• Minimum 3 years’ experience management experience in trade or teaching environment
• Proven experience in a relevant industry
• A commitment to positively meeting the employment and vocational training needs of prisoners and a genuine desire to contribute to reducing offending.
• High level reporting writing skills and attention to detail.
